November Cause: The Bowery Mission

While we start making Thanksgiving plans to enjoy quality time with our loved ones, it is also important to remember those less fortunate in our communities. Infinite is happy to continue our support of The Bowery Mission this November in their fight against hunger and homelessness across New York City. By making a contribution, it is our hope to see these lives transformed by receiving the assistance needed to instead experience hope, joy, and lasting productivity.

The Bowery Mission has served homeless and hungry New Yorkers since the 1870s, when its neighborhood came to define the term “skid row.” Their children’s programs called Mont Lawn City Camp & Mont Lawn Summer Camp, serve youth and began in 1894 by giving the children of recent immigrants the chance to escape the tenements in the summer. Today, The Bowery Mission is recognized as one of New York City’s most effective organizations. In the past year, they provided Covid-19 crisis support; 255,000 meals to ease hunger; 54,000 nights of shelter; 30,000 emergency showers; 20,000 articles of clothing; and many other essential services to those in need.
