Jain Samaj of Long Island Inc. is a not-for-profit organization formed in 2007 to accommodate the social and religious needs of approximately 200 Jain Families in and around Hicksville, NY. The organization was formed by Shri Kanubhai Lakhani, Late Shri Bhailalbhai Shah, Shri Jayesh Shah, Smt Kalpana Vaidya, and Smt Sweeta Khona. The small and dedicated group of the established volunteer committee helped them celebrate their first Paryushan in 2007 under the guidance of Shri Pravinbhai Shah.

RAINN
RAINN, the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization, created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org y rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

Direct Relief is a non-profit organization that improves the health and lives of people affected by poverty, disaster, and conflict around the world. Their donation policy ensures that 100 percent of all designated contributions for specific programs or emergency responses are used only on expenses related to supporting that program or response. Operation Underground Railroad
OUR is a nonprofit organization involved in the rescue of human trafficking and sex trafficking victims, with a special focus on children, and a wider goal of eliminating sex trafficking world-wide. They work closely with law enforcement agencies and governments to rescue victims and bring traffickers to justice. They also provide aftercare to survivors, which includes medical care, counseling, education, and vocational training. OUR's mission is to not only rescue victims but also to provide them with the tools they need to build a new life.
